The traditional DB-15 style KVM Over IP Switch offers a great value for the remote fuction provided. The 8 port switches come with 8, 6' COMBO USB PS/2 KVM Cables and the 16 port version includes 16, 6' cables. The local console and IP KVM console can be viewed at the same time and thus is considered a 2 console solution. The optional cable lengths for the DB-15 KVM Over IP is 6', 10', and 15' lengths. The switches can be cascaded up to 8 levels making it very scalable and cost effective for an IP KVM Switch. The front switch is the only IP version needed. The remaining cascaded switches are accessed via a cascade cable and the target devices on the cascaded switches are able to be accessed through the IP connectivity of the front KVM Over IP switch. The local console supports up to 1600 X 1200 resolution. The IP security protocal includes SSL v3, RSA, AES, CSR, http, and https internet access. You can set up 15 different users, however, there is a limit to 1 IP user at a time. These switches are compatible with PC's, SUN, MAC, IBM, DELL, HP, servers and with software versions Windows Vista, Windows 2003, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2007, Netware, and Unix. The switches also have dual power with fail over for redundancy. 12 VDC, 24 VDC, and 48 VDC are available power options.
