KVM Switch

The traditional style DB-15 KVM Over IP switches provide a great value and are simple to use and affordable. 8 and 16 port versions are available and come with everything included with one part number. Each swtich includes 8, 6' COMBO USB PS/2 KVM Cables. The two console switch allows for two simultaneous users. Choose IP or local console for accessing your servers. DB15 IP KVM Switches can also be integrated into the rackmount LCD Drawers while only occupying 1U of space. BIOS level access allows for remote trouble shooting when software issues arise. The Keyboard Video Mouse switch supports 1600 X 1200 resolution from the local console. SUN is also supported at 1152 X 900 native resolution. Up to eight levels of switches can be cascaded together for a total of 256 servers. Compatibility includes Mixed PC's, HP, DELL, IBM, Servers and supports the following software platforms - Windows Vista, 2003, XP, Windows 2007, Linux Netware, Unix, and MAC OS. Although 6' COMBO USB PS/2 cables are included, for racks with servers spread out, 10 foot and 15 foot cables can be substituted. Basically the cost paid is the difference between the 6' cable cost and either the 10' or 15' cable cost. Power options on your KVM Over IP switch include 12 VDC, 24 VDC, and 48 VDC options.
